*5. ESL RESEARCH (10 POINTS)*
1. Watch the video “Personalized Learning: Why, How, What? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68-MBrKMzSQ
2. Make a summary about what you understood from the video related to personalized learning. Write a complete paragraph.
Answer:
After watching the video, what really stood out to me is that personalized learning is about seeing each student as an individual instead of treating everyone the same. Every learner has different strengths, interests, and ways of understanding new ideas, so it makes sense that they won't all learn at the same pace. I also liked the idea that the teacher isn't just there to give information but to guide and support students as they learn. When lessons connect to students' real lives and they have some choice in how they learn, they're usually more interested and motivated. For me, this was a good reminder that even small things, like using a student's name, asking about their interests, or adjusting an activity to match their level, can make them feel seen and help them learn with more confidence thus making learning individualised.

*7. BIBLE QUESTIONS (10 POINTS)*
A. Read Hebrews 11:33-40. Does God promise us that we will not suffer while on earth? What does God promise us?
Answer
After reading Hebrews 11:33–40, I don't think God promises that we will never suffer while we are on earth. In fact, this passage shows that many people who trusted God experienced very different situations. Some saw amazing miracles and victories, while others went through hardship, persecution, and even death because of their faith. What encouraged me is that God was pleased with all of them, not because their lives were easy, but because they remained faithful. The real promise isn't a life without pain. It's that God will always be with us, strengthen us, and ultimately fulfill His promises in His perfect time. He has prepared something far better for those who believe.
B. Think about the life of Jesus. He was very blessed and yet He suffered. In John 19:30 we see the very last words that Jesus spoke before dying. When Jesus said, “It is finished”, what was He referring to?
Answer:
When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He was saying that He had completed the work the Father sent Him to do. Through His death, He paid the full price for our sins and fulfilled God's plan of salvation. It was a statement of victory, not defeat.
C. Jesus had a purpose for His life on earth. What is your purpose?
Answer
I believe my purpose is to love God, serve others, and use my gifts to make a positive difference. I'm still growing and discovering exactly what that looks like, but I want my life to reflect God's love and encourage the people around me.
D. This world is not our home and the Bible says that we are sojourners. Read Philippians 3:20. List 5 ways this truth should change how we spend our time and money. How should this change the things that make us happy or angry?
Answer:
Knowing that heaven is my true home reminds me to focus on what really matters. I want to use my time and money wisely, be generous, and not let temporary things determine my happiness or anger. My hope is to keep my heart focused on God and eternity.
*8. TRAUMA-INFORMED TEACHER (10 POINTS)*
In class we talked about common Father wounds that children suffer. These father wounds can stay with a person into their adult life.
A. How could a relationship with God the Father help an adult heal from this type of wound?
Answer:
A relationship with God the Father will helped individuals find healing and see their true worth. His unconditional love reminds them that their value isn't based on what they do or what others think. Trusting Him gives peace, hope, and the strength to keep growing.
B. How could a father wound impact how we view God the Father?
Answer:
A father wound can affect how we see God, making it difficult to trust Him. Healing begins when we understand that God is loving, faithful, and unlike any imperfect earthly father.
*9. THE CHOSEN (10 POINTS)*
Watch this episode of the Chosen.
Season 3 Episode 6
EPISODE LINK: https://watch.thechosen.tv/video/184683594331?language=en
What is one thing you liked or learned?
Answer:
One thing I learned from this episode is that God is patient with us. Even when I don't understand His plan, I can trust that He is leading me one step at a time, that at all times,God understands, even when my faith is down and I have doubts.
Despite the pressure and demands from the crowd, Jesus was compassionate and gave his all.Even to those who doubted him.
