*6. BIBLE QUESTIONS (10 POINTS)*

A. In Matthew 21:5 we see an incredible picture of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. Jesus went to His death very humbly. He also was born as a baby very humbly in a manger. Make a PRIVATE list of 5 areas of your life that you are tempted to be prideful in. Spend some time praying and asking God to forgive you. You do not need to post this project publicly. When completed, make a note that you completed this project.

B. In Matthew 22:37-38, we see Jesus talk about what is most important in life. Make a list of 5 different ways to show love to Jesus.

We can show love to Jesus through

1. Love of our neighbour

2.Praying and communing with him always

3.obeying his commandments 

4.Read the word of God

5.Spreading the good news everywhere 

*7. TRAUMA INFORMED TEACHER (10 POINTS)*

PTSD - Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder - is one of several trauma-related disorders that a student you are working with could be struggling with. People who have experienced a traumatic event may experience PTSD, which can affect multiple areas of their lives. PTSD triggers can be sights, sounds, smells, or other sensory or emotional experiences that remind the person’s brain of the traumatic event, bringing them back into a state of stress, and often, panic.  

Have you experienced a traumatic event? Do you know anyone who struggles with PTSD and triggers? Today, we will be thinking about how a relationship with Jesus could help a person with PTSD when triggers show up in their life. Take some time to reflect  on the following questions. 

1. How could a relationship with Jesus help a person struggling with PTSD triggers?

A relationship with Jesus can help someone going through PTSD to  find peace during distress, Hope , healing and forgiveness .

2. What are some promises that God makes in His Word that could be comforting to someone with PTSD?

Matthew 11:28 — “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Isaiah 41:10 — “Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”,This can be used to comfort and strength someone with PTSD.

What is one thing you liked or learned?

I watched this episode and I loved how this humanises the bible,This shows that God sees  our actions, pain,  and hidden struggles.Nathaniel cried out to God in his despair and the Lord saw him.

I reviewed Sarah Charles work  on project List 12 and her write up on TPR was very in-depth,she said that actions and words help memory and cognition.

She also stated that when students perform the gestures themselves, they achieve better results in long-term memory
