A. Why is it powerful to teach with English Only?

Teaching solely in English helps children become fully immersed in the language. By not relying on translations, they are forced to understand and respond in English directly. This approach encourages natural language acquisition, as students learn to think in English, making the process more authentic and engaging. Consistently using English boosts their ability to use the language naturally, just like they would their first language, helping them improve faster.

B. Why is it powerful to use sound effects and fun sounds while teaching?

Using fun sounds and sound effects makes learning more exciting and helps capture children's attention. These playful elements not only make lessons more engaging but also aid memory retention. Songs and rhythmic sounds are effective tools for language recall, as they associate words with enjoyable experiences, making the learning process both fun and memorable. This method also helps children enhance their listening and speaking skills.

C. How often did the teacher have the children moving or talking? 

The teacher in the video consistently involved the children by encouraging them to move and speak throughout the lesson. The class was dynamic, with frequent verbal and physical participation. Children were constantly engaged in activities, whether it was through acting out words, responding to questions, or interacting with each other. This active learning approach was a key feature of the lesson.

D. Why is it powerful to have children moving and talking during class?

Having children move and talk during lessons is highly effective because Physical activity keeps young learners engaged, helping them maintain focus and enthusiasm. Additionally, movement is linked to improved memory and learning retention, while talking boosts their ability to use the language actively. Speaking English regularly in class helps children internalize the language, while also making learning a fun and natural part of their day. This approach encourages spontaneous use of language, which is crucial for their development.

Read John 1 and answer this question. In John 1:38-39, we see that Jesus told his disciples/students to come and follow Him. The students didn’t just listen to Jesus, they lived with Him, traveled with Him, ate with Him. Why is this a significant and powerful way to teach? How can you apply this to your life?

In John 1:38-39, Jesus' invitation to His disciples to “come and see” where He was staying shows that He taught not just with words, but through living life alongside His followers. This method is powerful because it builds a deep, personal connection, allowing students to learn by observing how the teacher lives, responds, and acts in real-life situations. It demonstrates that teaching is most effective when it’s relational and authentic. In my life i can apply this by not only sharing knowledge with others but also by being present in their lives, showing them through actions how to live according to our values, which helps build trust and deeper understanding.Its important that everything about me,teach something exceptional to those around me always.
